It’s known that 10000 hour of practice is required to reach the mastery of playing any, well, violin for instance. And if you are able to practice 8 hours a day everyday, this takes at least 3.5 years to complete.

But what if you don’t have 8 hours a day to practice? What if you only have 3 months left to live yet you still wish to master at playing something?

I have a proposal for you.

I propose that you stop looking at number of hours on the practice, and instead aim for your best possible mentality whenever you start the practice.
Don’t even pick up the violin if you are not up for it.
And always ensure you are at your peak when you start playing.

If you can practice just 30 minutes at this status, it (perhaps) worths more than spending 8 hours everyday self-torturing, would you agree?

If you slightly convinced of this proposal, would you also like to try this handy tool I made exactly for this purpose?

It’s called Activity Logger, it measures how focused your mind currently is, with this tracker, you’ll be able to see what time of day does your status rise and fall, and you might be able to save your peak performance for the all important practice (and not wasting it on anything else).
